Tre’ Livingston Stanley was born on August 24, 1992 in Joliet, Illinois to Alston and Kalett Stanley. Tre’ was the youngest of three children and was the only son.
Tre Stanley graduated from Joliet Central High School in 2011. He recently joined Local 74 Bricklayers Union the same Union his father belongs to. As a thank you to his father’s help, he was going to send his parents on a vacation to the Caribbean to visit family.
Tre’ was loved by so many due to his ability to charm anyone with his laidback, sweet and goofy personality and had the uncanny gift to make a witty remark and put a smile on everyone’s face. Tre’ was a huge fan of video games and always enjoyed playing a game of basketball with his friends. While growing up, Tre’ and his sister would reenact scenes from movies and Tre’ always had a good time impersonating the character Smokey from Friday. Tre’ was always amazed by some of the things his Aunt Mia and Uncle Kevin were capable of; he was shocked at their adept ability to bust a move. Tre’ always wanted to make something of himself and was taking the steps to achieve his goals.
Tre’ is preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Charles Hillsman and maternal grandfather, William Elliot.
Tre’ passed away tragically on Saturday, October 3, 2020 in Maywood, Illinois.
Tre’ is survived by his beloved parents, Kalett and Alston Stanley; two sisters, Janaye Stanley and Waleska Stanley; maternal grandmother, Shirley Hillsman; paternal grandmother, Iris Stanley, as well as a long-extended family of numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
