Valorie Jean Peeples was born on January 25, 1962 and the third child of Cleveland and Bessie Peeples. She began early education at School Elementary School and later at McKinley School. She graduated from Dr. Martin Luther King Junior High School in 1976 and attended Thornton High School where she graduated in 1980.
After high school, Valorie attended the Robert Morris Business College in Chicago, Illinois.
Later in life Valorie began to have some health challenges which interfered with her means to care for herself in life.
Valorie had a sweet and loving personality, and she loved her family and siblings dearly. She was proud of her loved ones and her friends, and she carried that pride all of her life. She made friends wherever she went. She tried in small but meaningful ways to stay connected to those she loved and with her family. She often reached out to family by sending cards or giving them comments. She never forgot the birthdays of her children and grandchild. Her thoughtfulness and gentle spirit are what was most people remembered about her.
Valorie also loved to dig in the dirt planting vegetables and flowers, she especially liked the color yellow. She has been employed as a dispatcher for a trucking company and also employed in a floral shop where she was creative in putting together flower arrangements with ribbons and balloons. Her journey was not easy, she lived her life struggling with endurance and showing kindness and having a quiet sense of love that she would always seek to show to others, her memory will be remembered most by those who knew her best. Valorie played the piano and at one point in her life, she was taking piano lessons, she was gifted with a beautiful singing voice and she often sang in the church that she and her family attended.
In April of the year 2025, Valorie closed her eyes for the last time on the 25th. Preceding her in death is her son, Gerald Peeples; a sister, Barbra Peeples; and father, Cleveland Peeples.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories; three children, Diana Peeples, Christoper Daryl Peeples and Arielle Northrop; one grandchild, Kassie Green; a mother, Bessie Peeples; three brothers, David Peeples, Daniel (Estella) Peeples, and Michael Peeples; one sister, Becky Peeples and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, extended friends and acquaintances.
