Virenda was born on April 2, 1982, and from a young age, her personality was as vibrant as her style. Known for her great humor and sweet nature, she was a light in the lives of everyone who knew her. Rendi had an unmistakable flair for fashion; she never stepped out without her hair and edges perfectly laid, inspiring those around her with her confidence and grace.

Perhaps her greatest gift was her nurturing heart. She believed that love was best served on a plate, and she made it her mission to ensure that no one ever went hungry in her presence. Whether it was a full meal or a favorite snack, if you were with Rendi, you were fed.

Her Greatest Joy

The center of Virenda’s world, her 14-year-old son, Gabriel. She took immense pride in being his mother. Her legacy of love and strength lives on through him and the bond she shared with his father, Kevin Rouser.

Family Bonds

Virenda is the beloved daughter of Theresa Tatum and the late Charles Tatum Jr. She remains a guiding light for her siblings, who will forever cherish the memories of their childhoods and birthdays spent together.

Virenda passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at OSF Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park, Illinois. 

She is survived by:

    •    Her Mother: Theresa Tatum

    •    Her Son: Gabriel

    •    Her Husband: Kevin Rouser

    •    Her Sisters: Tracye Campbell and Alexandra Tatum

    •    Her Brothers: Benji Tatum and Marco Hubble

    •    A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and plenty of friends who were like family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Tatum Jr.
