Warren H. Satchell was born on July 26, 1960 to Nathaniel and Daisy L. Satchell. His parents preceded him in death. Also, four brothers, Nathaniel, Kevin, Eric and Marvin.
Warren attended Edward Jenner and Michelle Clark Middle Elementary Schools and Austin High School in Chicago, Illinois.
He was the father of one son, Warren H. Satchell Jr., AKA “Big Woog.” Warren loved him some Woogie, from birth until he left this earth.
Warren was married to Cheryl Henderson, Chicago, Illinois. He was baptized and became a member of the New Philadelphia Church Baptist.
From a child up, Warren was always very sensitive. All you had to do is say, “I know he wants to cry” and he would. But if you kept laughing, he would clear the whole house, young and old would be running. He was sensitive, but a wimp.
Warren worked at Porter Steel Company in Franklin Park, Illinois alongside his father as a Painter. He worked for the U.S. League of Savings in the Printing and Distribution Center, downtown Chicago.
He also worked as a Poll Worker installing voting machines around the City of Chicago and at the Catholic Charities Shelter for the homeless.
Warren passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2023 in Chicago, Illinois.
Warren leaves to cherish his memory; one son, Warren H. Satchell, Jr.; four grandchildren, Nyuora, Aniyah, Autumn and Contrell Jackson; seven sisters, Jewel (Sonny), Loretta, Diane, Sharon, Elvira (Jerod), Darlene and Mitzi; three brothers, Byron (Ernestine), Andre (Trina) and David; and many, many other relatives and friends.
