Willie Hoyle Obituary

Willie Frank Hoyle was born on July 17, 1933, to Mary Carpenter and Leroy Hoyle in Jackson, Tennessee.  Willie Frank attended public schools in Jackson, Tennessee.

Willie grew up with four brothers and six sisters.  Vernell Kyles was the eldest sister, Lillie Brown, Celeste Heath, Gladys Anderson, Agnes Doss and Delores Bruton; brothers, John Hoyle, Joseph Hoyle, Curtis Hoyle, Billy Hoyle and Willie Frank was the oldest son.  They were a very close and beautiful family.

Willie Frank moved to Joliet, IL in the early 1950s where he met and married Lucille.  They had four children: Willie James, Clarence, Carita and Larnita Hoyle.

Willie Frank had three more children; Deidra Gibson, Derrick Gibson and Lebrenda Hoyle.  He later married Lillie and welcomed two additional children: Demetrous Hoyle and Andre Hoyle.

Willie Frank worked as a Crane Operator at Atlas Supply for over 40 years and worked as a Roofer part-time job with his good buddy and friend, Mr. Gross.  They were partners in crime (smile) he was a true friend to our father.

Our father was a good man; he was not judgmental; he was one sweet and kind man.  Everyone loved him and he never had a bad attitude.  He was always happy, loved to laugh and have fun.  He was a sharp dresser and good cook.

Willie Frank was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Carpenter; father, Leroy Hoyle; sisters, Vernell Kyles, Lillie Brown, Gladys Anderson and Agnes Doss; brothers, John Hoyle, Joseph Hoyle and Curtis Hoyle; his wife, Lillie Hoyle; and son, Clarence Hoyle.

Willie Frank passed away on June 30, 2025 in Joliet, Illinois.

Willie Frank is survived by his sisters; Celeste Heath, Delores (Wally) Bruton; brother, Billy Hoyle; children, Willie James Hoyle, Carita Hoyle, Larnita (Will) Williams, Deidra (Jimmy) Hill, Derrick Gibson, Demetrous Hoyle and Andre Hoyle, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.  He was loved by everyone, daddy you will be missed.
